Matthew is a focused and motivated young man with clear goals for his future. Currently navigating extended foster care, he is actively developing his independent living skills and working hard to build a stable foundation for adulthood. Despite facing the natural anxieties and challenges that come with transitioning to independent living, Matthew manages them with great resilience and a commitment to personal growth. Supported by a close circle of friends, a caring girlfriend, and his CASA, Matthew enjoys relaxing at the beach, playing video games, and catching up on sleep in his free time.

Matthew is a motivated student who is currently attending an independent study program once a week as he works toward graduating. Reliable transportation has been a challenge, and although Matthew and one of his support staff are actively working with his school to establish a transportation service through HopSkipDrive, the process is still underway and expected to take a couple of weeks for approval. In the meantime, Matthew needs a way to consistently get to his program so he can stay on track academically.
