Donnie has experienced a great amount of loss. Most recently he was moved, had to switch schools, leave his friends and his sisters. He is adjusting to being in a new home, and needs structure and consistent routines in order to thrive. Donnie has a kind heart and is very soft spoken. He enjoys building things, Legos and playing on a computer. He loves to try new foods and doesnt let his diagnosis hold him back. He tries hard in school and is working to make new friends and keep in contact with his siblings.

Donnie recently had to leave everything he knew—his school, friends, and siblings. It has been hard for him to adjust to his new place, and he depended on his laptop to keep his memories safe and stay in touch with people who care about him. Unfortunately, someone in his old home broke his laptop, and it can't be fixed. Now, without his laptop, Donnie feels lost and sad, struggling to stay connected. Getting him a new Chromebook would help him feel safe and secure. He could email or video call his friends and family, making it easier for him not to feel so lonely during this tough time.
