Steven has experienced significant trauma, and he is still working to process those experiences with the support of mental-health services. Even with these challenges, Steven’s heart is one of his strongest qualities. He cares deeply for his sister and half-sister, whom he is separated from. Steven also has a deep love for his family members who live in another country, including his mother and brother. Family means everything to him. Steven continues to show strength as he works through his healing journey, and he deserves support, understanding, and opportunities that help him keep moving forward.

Steven loves building things, especially with Legos! Recently, he’s been opening up more to his foster brothers and shared that he’d like Legos for his birthday so they can build cool things together. Despite having some trouble connecting with others, he finds that doing activities with them really helps him come out of his shell. He’s also a big fan of cars and has his heart set on getting "Lego cars" for his special day.
