Edward is an incredible young man who faced significant challenges when he was placed in a group home, separated from his two younger brothers. Adjusting to life in the group home was tough for him, and he even attempted to leave a couple of times. Fortunately, Edward has since been placed in a kinship home where he can live with his siblings once again. A passionate student, Edward truly loves school and excels in athletics. He has a particular fondness for football and basketball, having previously played for an AAU Basketball League before entering foster care. Committed to his future, Edward is focused on graduating high school and pursuing collegiate sports, with aspirations to play basketball or football. Additionally, he has plans to join the military after graduation, showcasing his determination and drive for success.

Edward is thrilled to have been selected to play AAU basketball. He dreams of one day playing for his favorite college, Duke University. Recently, he has experienced significant growth, adding a foot to his height in under a year, and he has become an excellent basketball player. Edward used some of his savings to cover the application fee for a summer league and has also asked for a new pair of purple Jordans to wear during that time. He's been working hard, and any financial assistance he can receive would be greatly appreciated, especially since he is currently living in a kinship placement and his financial situation is challenging.
