Marcus entered the foster care system as a newborn and aged out without ever being adopted. Throughout his time as a foster youth, he changed homes frequently and nearly faced homelessness when he transitioned out of the system. He realized that his passion for education was the key to achieving the life he wanted, and he is now attending the University of California as a Psychology major. Marcus enjoys spending time in nature, working out, and playing video games. He also has a beloved cat named Kiwi. Marcus aspires to return to his community and help others who have had similar experiences as they navigate life's challenges. His vibrant energy positively impacts everyone around him.

Marcus is set to move into a new apartment soon, which offers him more space for his belongings. However, he’s facing some financial constraints when it comes to furnishing his new place. One item he particularly wishes for is an air fryer. With his busy schedule of classes and work, he believes having an air fryer would allow him to prepare healthy meals more easily, helping him maintain a balanced diet amidst his hectic lifestyle.
