Some wings for Gage to treat himself
Gage, 19 years old, OH
Wish submitted by:
Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthGage has faced more challenges than most at a young age. He entered foster care at just 8 years old due to his mother’s substance use and was unable to receive the care he needed. Over the years, he moved from home to home, eventually being placed in a group home where he spent several years trying to find stability. After aging out of the system at 18 without family support, Gage experienced homelessness. Despite these hardships, he remained determined. He found a sense of safety when a young woman and her family opened their garage to give him a place to stay.Through it all, Gage has shown resilience and motivation. He secured a job and is actively working to finish school by enrolling in online classes.
Gage has been working hard to make his life better after leaving foster care and dealing with homelessness. Even with these tough times, he has kept a job, is taking online classes to finish school, and is getting ready to be a dad this summer. With so much going on, Gage doesn’t have time to relax or do something nice for himself. A gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings would let him enjoy a hot meal, take a break, and feel refreshed. This little treat would mean a lot to him as he keeps trying to create a better future for himself and his family.

A note has been added to Gage's wish!
"Thank you so much for granting Gage's wish for wings. Your generosity means more than just a meal—it provides him with an opportunity to take a moment for himself during a busy and sometimes stressful time in his life. As Gage prepares for the arrival of his first child and continues working toward his goals, opportunities for self-care can often take a back seat. Your thoughtful gift allows him to enjoy a treat, relax, and celebrate the progress he has made. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and support. Thank you for reminding Gage that his hard work and perseverance are seen and appreciated. With heartfelt thanks, Gage & Kindred Spirit Behavioral Health"
