She is kind and nurturing, and despite facing challenges that many people don't encounter at her age, she is determined to make a better life for both of them.
Taylor wants to take her HiSet exam, which is a high school equivalency test. Earning her HiSet will open up many more employment and education opportunities for her, allowing her to improve not only her own life but also her daughter's. Taylor has a strong drive, and one of her goals is to live independently. Taking this exam is the first step toward achieving that goal.
