The Bair FoundationSen is going through a lot of changes as he starts foster care for the first time with his four siblings. Even though heโs faced tough experiences in his young life, like domestic violence and being born with drugs in his system, he still has a strong ability to love and connect with others. He sometimes struggles to sit still and needs extra help to express himself in safe and healthy ways, especially when dealing with things he has seen. With patience, structure, and support, he really shines. He listens well, follows directions, and does much better when he is set up for success. Deep down, he is a loving and caring little boy who just wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. With the right support and a caring environment, he can heal, grow, and enjoy being a child.
Due to the challenges he has faced early in life, Sen often struggles to sit still and maintain focus for long periods. A sensory seat would provide him with a safe and supportive way to move his body while still participating in activities such as meals, learning time, and play. This outlet can help him feel more regulated and in control, reducing frustration and allowing him to follow directions more effectively. With the right tools in place, he can better succeed, build confidence, and continue to express the loving and gentle nature that makes him so special.
