Luis lives with his maternal grandmother in a trailer park home, grandmother is also fostering 5 other grandchildren. Luis is responsible young man who helps care for his young twin brothers. Luis has made great strides in getting his drivers license to help grandmother run errands.

Luis lives in a small trailer home with his grandmother and three siblings, so space is very limited. The twin boys don’t really have a yard or safe outdoor area where they can play with their toys, which makes it harder for them to stay active and entertained. To try to make things work, the family has covered their porch to create a small outdoor space where the children can get a little fresh air and relief from the summer heat. Even with that effort, the area still gets very hot and isn’t very comfortable for daily use. The family could really use a portable air conditioner to help keep the home cooler during the warmer months. A water table would give the toddlers a safe and fun way to play outside, and an outdoor rug would help make the porch space more comfortable and usable for the children.
