Micah is so sweet! He entered foster care when it was discovered he was not being treated correctly. Unfortunately, it was discovered that he was healing from multiple broken bones. You wouldn’t have known it, though, when you looked at this little guy. He has additional delays in some areas from suspected abuse, but is loving all of the attention in his foster home. Micah entered into a large family, and it is the perfect fit.

Micah has weak muscle tone because of neglect when he was younger. His care team recommended a chair like this to help support him while he builds strength. The chair gives him the support he needs now, while also helping him work on strengthening his core over time. As he gets stronger, parts of the chair can be removed. This chair can be used with infant inserts and without, so it can grow with him. His team also plans to use it during some of his feeding therapies. Having a high chair like this will support his needs now and continue to work for him as he grows. As the youngest in a busy foster family, Micah wants to be part of everything going on. This chair will let him sit right up at the table and join in. He will be able to use it during meals and family time every day.
