Marksboro Community ChurchAlex is energetic, loves all kinds of sports, and is very competitive. He enjoys playing sports, watching sports, and discussing sports—it's all sports, all day for him! In addition to that, he has a passion for action figures. As one of the middle children in his foster family of six, he is always seeking out fun. Boredom is something he cannot tolerate for long, so he constantly looks for activities to keep him entertained. Whether it's climbing a tree, racing his brother, playing tag, going for a bike ride, or participating in any other fun activity, Alex is a true creator of fun!
Alex is wishing for a pair of bowling shoes so he can fully participate in New Jersey’s Kids Bowl Free program. While the program itself is free, the cost of renting shoes each visit adds up quickly and makes it difficult for him to go regularly. Having his own pair would remove that barrier and allow him to enjoy a fun, active, and positive activity all summer long.

"Alex wanted to thank you specifically for this gift. He wrote: "Thanks for the shoes. I know they're just bowling shoes but I don't come from a place where we do family stuff a lot. I've had 14 foster homes and I'm finally in a place where I feel like it actually is a home. Like, I have a mom who will just bring me bowling. That's wild lol. She doesn't have much but whatever she does have, she gives it to us kids. I just want you to know that your gift made a difference. I can now go bowling all summer with these bowling shoes without having to ask my mom for ANY money which is really helpful to our family. Thank you for making my summer better!""
