Atlas is a remarkable young lady and an honor roll student who loves soccer and animals. She dreams of becoming a veterinarian to care for sick animals. Unfortunately, her journey has been difficult. After losing her mother and with an absent father, she and her siblings moved in with their loving grandmother.

Atlas is starting to feel more at home, though her journey is still ongoing. Going to therapy gives her a safe place to talk about her thoughts and feelings with caring people. After the heartbreaking loss of her mother, Atlas has faced many challenges, including a fire that caused her to lose many important belongings. She recently received a bunk bed, but she still needs a twin mattress for the top bunk where she will sleep. Having this mattress would help make her bedroom feel more comfortable and safe, and support her as she continues to rebuild her life.
