Amariah is a bright and happy girl who is being raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother has always been there for her and has provided a loving and stable home, even while managing her own disability. Amariah’s father has been in federal prison for the past few years. No matter what, Amariah will continue living with her grandmother, who is her constant source of safety, care, and support.

Amariah would love a pair of colorful new shoes that make her feel confident and happy. She wants to wear something pretty so she doesn’t feel self-conscious or worried about other kids teasing her about her old or worn-out shoes. Having her own new pair of shoes, rather than hand-me-downs, would mean a lot to her. It would help her feel more comfortable at school and more confident in herself. This gift would also take some financial pressure off her family and give Amariah something special that is just for her.
