Amariah is a bright and happy girl who is being raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother has always been there for her and has provided a loving and stable home, even while managing her own disability. Amariah’s father has been in federal prison for the past few years. No matter what, Amariah will continue living with her grandmother, who is her constant source of safety, care, and support.

Amariah could really use a haircut. Her grandmother lives on Social Security and doesn’t always have extra money to cover everything a growing child needs. A fresh haircut would help Amariah feel more comfortable and confident, especially as summer starts and the weather gets warmer. It would also help her stay cool and ready to enjoy the season.
