Hannalee is an amazing young girl who is on the autism spectrum. She is nonverbal and functions at a low. Hannalee is very good at drawing, playing with her doll house, and communicating through her school computer.

Hannalee lives with her mother, who is her full-time caregiver. Because Hannalee is nonverbal and requires a high level of support, her mother is not able to work and focuses on meeting her daily needs. A laptop is needed so they can connect with service providers who offer autism-related and mental health support for Hannalee. Her school is also exploring communication through a computer, but her mother does not currently have one. This device would greatly support both Hannalee and her mother in accessing services and improving communication. They are also receiving ongoing child welfare services.
