Donna entered foster care in the spring of 2025 and is currently in her second placement. Like many navigating the system, she is working through the effects of trauma and the challenges that come with changing environments and relationships. She and her sister have a strained relationship, with ongoing tension rooted in jealousy and past experiences. Despite these challenges, Donna’s heart stands out. She is incredibly kind and often goes out of her way to uplift others, frequently telling those around her how beautiful they are. She is deeply sensitive and feels things strongly, which can be both a strength and something she continues to learn how to navigate. Donna is a sweet girl who is learning to find her place, build healthy relationships, and grow in confidence as she continues her journey.

Donna would like a Lego Creator 3-in-1 hummingbird set to use during visits with her mom and sister. Visits can sometimes feel emotional and a little hard, and having something to do together could help make the time feel more relaxed and comfortable. Building Lego sets gives them a simple, hands-on activity to focus on. It can make it easier to talk, or just enjoy being together without pressure to always have conversation. This shared activity would help them connect in a more natural and calm way.
