Justine is an independent, strong willed and motivated individual who loves cosmetology, music and writing. She is the oldest of 7 siblings total and spent a great deal of her childhood caring for her siblings. She has experienced a great deal of loss and is struggling to manage everything while having navigating life in foster care. She wants to pursue her high school diploma and obtain a career in the music field as music has helped her cope over the years.

Justine is currently living in a non-traditional placement that does not have access to a television. She has requested a tablet so she can watch shows, complete schoolwork or home instruction, and use communication apps to stay in touch with her siblings who live out of state. Having a tablet would help Justine stay connected, supported, and engaged in both learning and family relationships.
