Alyssah is very independent and values both family time and her own personal space. She has a strong sense of self, knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to speak up for herself. She advocates for her needs and carries herself with confidence and clarity.

Alyssah and her siblings were recently placed in the care of their aunt and uncle and are still adjusting to their new home. During this transition, they are in need of basic household support. At this time, they do not have beds to sleep in. Alyssah and her sister so could use a bunk bed to have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Having a bed would help Alyssah begin to feel more secure in her new environment and start building a sense of routine and stability. It would also give her a personal space where she can rest comfortably during this difficult adjustment and begin to feel more at home.
