GAP Ministries Foster Care DepartmentSophia is just beginning to discover the world around her. She entered foster care directly from the hospital and was placed in the same home as her biological older brother, who has been there for the past few years. From the beginning, she has been surrounded by familiar love and care. Sophia is a calm and observant baby who enjoys watching the people around her and taking in everything she sees. She finds comfort in her swing and pacifier and especially enjoys watching her big brother, who she seems very interested in. Even at such a young age, Sophia has a gentle presence and is slowly building trust and connection each day. Being cared for and loved from the start has helped give her a strong and comforting foundation as she grows.
As Sophia reaches new milestones, she will soon learn to sit up and participate in mealtimes. A high chair will provide her with a safe and supportive space, allowing her to be included in daily routines alongside her family. It will give her a comfortable place to explore new foods and develop important feeding skills as she grows. Having a high chair will also make mealtimes easier for her caregivers while creating more opportunities for family bonding and shared experiences.
