Alfred has been in foster care for years and is legally available for adoption. He has developmental disabilities, is partially blind, and has a seizure disorder, but he is a funny and joyful young man who loves to make others laugh. He looks up to law enforcement officers and firefighters and dreams of having a permanent, loving family and a place to call home. He currently lives in a residential setting while still hoping for adoption. In his free time, Alfred enjoys cars, playing board games, and spending time with others. He has a playful personality and sometimes changes the rules of games just for fun, always keeping things lighthearted and entertaining.

Alfred enjoys playing board games in his spare time and plays one with his advocate at every visit. A game of Battleship would be a great birthday gift for him and a nice addition to his collection. Given his admiration for military members, police officers, and firefighters, the game is especially meaningful to him. Board games also help him pass time in his residential setting and bring him joy and connection with others.
