Isabella is an enchanting young girl with delightful curls that bounce as she moves. After her transition from a kinship home, she has blossomed in a nurturing and licensed foster home where she is deeply cherished. Bella is truly thriving; she is diligently refining her motor skills, enhancing her speech, and growing more confident in her environment. Yet, amidst this blossoming, Bella faces her fair share of everyday struggles. With visits becoming more frequent, the changes in her life can feel overwhelming and intimidating. This has led to some challenging behaviors—she often lashes out, experiencing greater frequency of tantrums that manifest as throwing herself on the ground, pulling her hair, and even screaming or hitting herself and others, followed by running off to hide. However, Bella’s foster family remains steadfast in their support, committed to providing her with the utmost care. They are determined to ensure that Isabella feels valued, loved, and secure as she navigates these challenges and continues on her path of growth.

Bella is really struggling with behaviors and regulating her moods. It was suggested that she get a sensory chair, which will allow Bella to sit on it, lie on it, and spin to help her calm down. Bella would love this since she is sensory-seeking most of the time, and this might help her calm and recenter when she is dysregulated after visits.
