Raylynn is a sweet foster child that has been in care since birth. She has an incredible amount of perseverance for her young age. She has Global Delays, Gross Motor Delay, Hypotonia and Chronic Rhinitis. She is working with a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist. Her sweet disposition carries her through her sessions and she is usually smiling and even hand clapping, which is now one of her favorite ways to express herself.

Raylynn could really benefit from having a cube chair recommended by her Physical Therapist to support her developmental progress. This specialized chair would help her work toward important milestones she has not yet reached, such as sitting unassisted, learning to pull herself up, and eventually standing independently. The chair is designed to grow with her needs, as it can be adjusted for two different heights and later turned into a table to support standing practice when she is ready for that next step. Unfortunately, Medicaid will not cover the cost of this important item, making it difficult for her caregivers to provide this therapeutic support on their own.
