Voices for Children - San DiegoBronx, despite her young age, is highly discerning and aware of the world around her. She was removed from her family home and the care of her parents in 2022 due to domestic violence and sexual abuse against her and her sister. Her sister, who she calls her best friend, protector, and confidant recently and abruptly moved out of state, and unfortunately, their opportunities for contact are now limited. During this critical time, Bronx is working hard in school and looking for ways to focus her attention, process information and spend her time in a safe and healthy manner.
Bronx loves reading, journaling, and being outside. Her wish for a bike would provide a great outlet for to explore her world in a safe way. She is very excited for an opportunity to increase her physical activity and find ways to have fun outside the walls of her room, where she currently spends a lot of time thinking about and missing her sister.
