Nate enjoys playing sports and video games. He loves to eat healthy and loves fruits and really loves to cook. He is a huge fan of the NY Giants. He is a great big brother and is a very caring guy. He's receiving support through New Jersey DCFS.

Nate has been living with diabetes for the past 10 years. He has a strong understanding of how to manage it, but recently his body and responses have been changing, making it more difficult for him to monitor and stabilize his levels quickly and accurately. There is a Dexcom app that Nate could use to monitor his glucose levels, which shows his readings in green, yellow, and red to indicate whether they are in a safe range. He would also be able to enter his meals, insulin, and activity, helping him keep everything organized in one place. However, Nate’s current phone is not compatible with the app, and his mother is currently out of work on disability and unable to afford a new phone. Nate is wishing for an unlocked iPhone that is compatible with the app to help him manage his diabetes more effectively. An iPhone 14 would give Nate more independence and allow him to continue being a teenager with less constant worry about his health.
