Abby is a dedicated and goal-driven pre-med Biology major currently attending community college. A strong academic achiever, she graduated in the top 15% of her high school class, reflecting her commitment to excellence and her determination to succeed. During her first semester of college, she successfully completed a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) training program, further demonstrating her passion for healthcare and helping others. While working part-time as a server and living independently, Abby continues to show exceptional resilience, responsibility, and perseverance. She skillfully balances her academic and work responsibilities while pursuing her long-term goal of becoming a pediatrician. Abby would greatly benefit from an electric scooter due to limited access to reliable transportation in her rural/suburban community, where public transportation is not easily accessible within walking distance. She recently obtained employment and will soon be attending community college, making dependable transportation especially important during this new stage of independence. Having an electric scooter would significantly reduce Abby’s travel time and allow her to get to work, school, and other important responsibilities more reliably. It would also increase her independence and help remove transportation barriers that could otherwise impact her ability to maintain employment and continue her education.
