Gabby was born addicted to drugs and spent several weeks in the NICU before she was released into foster care. Since then, she has grown to be a happy little girl who struggles with ADHD. Having ADHD makes it hard for her to focus in school, and at times affects her self-esteem. However, Gabby works hard every day to be on the same playing field as her peers. Despite her challenges, Gabby has a beautiful disposition and a natural ability to sing and draw. She wants to be an Artist when she grows up.

Gabby is extremely excited! Her birthday is coming up and she feels like she wants to do something special. Something to signify that she is growing up. Gabby would really love to go to the mall and pick out her very own, pink, purple and silver sneakers. Being able to purchase her own sneakers, will give Gabby a sense of independence and make her feel really special on her birthday.
