NM CYFD - McKinley CountyEthan, who left tribal foster care as a youth, is maturing into a fine young man. He is very close to his four siblings, who are still in custody. With a kind heart, Ethan consistently puts the needs of others before his own. He takes his education seriously, participating in a dual enrollment program with the local university. A natural athlete, Ethan enjoys running track and traveling to his meets. He is looking forward to the next adventure in his life.
Ethan is a young man who has been living on his own without family support. Through hard work and determination, he completed an EMS program and was recently accepted into a housing program, where he will move into his first apartment. Since he does not have a car, doing laundry is hard and takes a lot of time for him. A portable washer would really help by letting him wash his clothes at home. It would save him time, money, and the trouble of getting to a laundromat. This would help him stay clean, organized, and stable as he starts this new chapter and continues building his independence.
