Chaniya is an amazing young lady in foster care, who has faced some tough times but still manages to keep a positive attitude. Chaniya has a great spirit and is always ready to take on new challenges. She is a natural advocate for herself and has a lot of energy, which helps her get along well with other children. Chaniya loves to be involved in her community and takes part in many activities such as gymnastics, basketball, swimming, after-school programs, dance, and church. She's a real star!

Chaniya is graduating from 8th grade in a few weeks and will be speaking at her graduation ceremony after writing her own speech. She is requesting a device she can use to listen to music wherever she goes, as music helps her stay grounded and regulate her emotions. Her favorite color is purple, which makes this gift even more special to her. This would be very meaningful as she has worked hard to focus on her goals and stay away from the negative drama that can sometimes come with middle school.
