Matthew is a motivated and driven individual who thrives on setting goals and staying busy. Raised in a loving foster home that remains his forever family, he maintains close ties with his foster parents and celebrates holidays with them. Committed to his education, Matthew aims to pursue pre-med studies and become an anesthesiologist, reflecting his dedication to science and desire to make a meaningful impact on others. Living in the dorms, he has built a supportive friend group that helps him navigate college life. Outside of academics, Matthew enjoys hands-on hobbies, particularly disassembling and reassembling electronics, showcasing his problem-solving skills and curiosity. Overall, he is a focused young man with a strong support system and a clear vision for his future.

Matthew recently reached a huge milestone in his life—he earned his driver’s license and purchased his very own car. This accomplishment means so much to him because he worked incredibly hard and saved his money for the past two years in order to make this goal a reality. His dedication, patience, and determination truly paid off. Having a car is going to make a major difference in Matthew’s daily life. He is currently balancing college classes and work, and reliable transportation will now allow him to travel between school, work, and other responsibilities much more easily and independently. This new level of freedom and stability is something Matthew has worked very hard for. To celebrate this accomplishment, Matthew is hoping for a gas gift card. While owning a car is exciting, the cost of gas can quickly become a financial stressor for a college student who is also working. A gas gift card would help relieve some of that pressure and allow him to fully enjoy and utilize the vehicle he worked so hard to obtain. This is part 1 of a 2-part wish.
