Destinie is a bright, happy, and positive young woman who is transitioning into adulthood with strength and optimism. Although she has spent her entire life in foster care, she refuses to let that define her. Destinie embraces life to the fullest and carries a joyful spirit wherever she goes. She recently moved into a Transitional Housing Program (THP) and is loving the independence and growth that come with it.

Destinie has recently discovered running as a healthy outlet and form of therapy as she navigates adulthood and all the changes that come with it. Running has become a positive way for her to manage stress, clear her mind, and focus on personal growth while adjusting to independent living in her Transitional Housing Program. She is requesting a pair of quality running shoes to support this new passion and healthy coping skill. These shoes would encourage Destinie to continue focusing on her physical and emotional well-being as she works toward a bright future.
