Rosy entered extended foster care as a teenager and aged out at the end of 2024. Since moving into AcademySTAY, Rosy has been focused on her goals: gaining job skills, saving money. She brings a calm, determined presence to the community and is working hard to develop the life skills she didn’t have the chance to learn earlier. She’s currently taking classes at the local community college and looking for part-time work to build experience and stability. Her next chapter is just beginning.

A fan would help Rosy stay cool and comfortable in her room during hot weather. The small fan she currently has is not strong enough to keep her space cool, which makes it hard for her to rest and feel comfortable throughout the day. Having a stronger fan would improve her living environment and help her feel more comfortable overall. It would also support her well-being as she balances school, work goals, and daily responsibilities.
