Rod'quel has been forced to live on her own due to difficult life circumstances and family struggles. At times, she has had to live in her vehicle or stay with friends while trying to find stability. Throughout her life, she has faced many challenges, including bullying and judgment simply for being herself. Growing up moving between different families and homes created additional hardship and instability for her. Despite everything she has endured, Rod'quel continues to work toward building a better future for herself. She deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and to have access to everyday necessities that many people take for granted.

Rod'quel is in need of basic hygiene items such as deodorant, a toothbrush, toothpaste, hair products, and hair accessories. She is currently unable to afford these everyday necessities as she works to seek employment and contribute financially to the individuals allowing her to stay in their homes whenever she is able to earn money. Being forced into homelessness has left her without many of the personal care items and necessities she once had. Receiving these essentials would help Rod'quel feel more confident, maintain her hygiene and self-care, and focus on working toward stability and employment.
