She is working toward being reunited with her mother and is focused on building confidence, learning healthy coping skills, and becoming more independent along the way. Sa’Mya enjoys everyday activities that help her feel relaxed and supported, and she benefits from spending time with others and feeling connected. Simple experiences that bring comfort, fun, and a sense of normal life mean a lot to her right now.
Sa’Mya wishes for a tablet that she can use during approved technology time at her group home. Having access to a tablet would give her a positive and healthy outlet during her free time and help her stay engaged in activities she enjoys. She would be able to listen to music, watch videos, play games, and explore creative apps that many teens like her enjoy. A tablet would also give Sa’Mya a way to relax, stay entertained, and feel more connected during her downtime.
