Chaniya is an amazing young lady in foster care, who has faced some tough times but still manages to keep a positive attitude. Chaniya has a great spirit and is always ready to take on new challenges. She is a natural advocate for herself and has a lot of energy, which helps her get along well with other children. Chaniya loves to be involved in her community and takes part in many activities such as gymnastics, basketball, swimming, after-school programs, dance, and church. She's a real star!

Chaniya loves music, singing, and dancing. For her 8th grade graduation gift, she is asking for an MP3 player and a protective cover to help keep it safe while she attends summer camps and activities. Since purple is her favorite color, the purple case would be perfect for her. This gift would celebrate all of Chaniya’s hard work in reaching this important milestone, as well as the bravery she showed by volunteering to give a speech at her graduation ceremony.
