Kaelub is a smart young man with a bright future ahead of him. He enjoys playing video games, is part of a gaming league, and loves being outdoors, especially playing basketball. Kaelub has expressed a desire to get a job and is also interested in joining the military. He came into care with a kinship family and was placed with two of his younger siblings, though he was separated from one of them. Despite the trauma Kaelub has experienced, he is doing very well in his placement and is looking forward to the summer.

Kaelub is a huge basketball fan and could talk about the sport all day long. He has been attending basketball open gyms, and coaches are already talking about the possibility of him becoming a starter next school year. Kaelub would love a new pair of basketball sneakers to help boost his confidence and motivate him to keep working hard toward earning that starting position.
