Sophia is a lively and independent child who always tries her best and encourages those around her. She is currently in foster care and living with her aunt. She shared that she sees beauty in everything around her. Sophia has found a passion for helping children find their voice. She wishes she had someone to do that for her when she was younger, because she feels she would have spoken up more. She is also the captain of her high school volleyball team, which she says is one of her biggest sources of support and confidence. She is doing very well in school, with all A’s and one B+, and she is working hard to improve it to an A.

Sophia is an exceptional student that is striving to do her best in school and trying to take chancing. Sophia is in the foster care system and is trying to go above all odds and become the first in her family to graduate high school and get her AA degree from her local community college. She is taking summer course in the college and is trying to figure out how she can't overheat because she only currently owns winter clothing. Sophia is asking for a gift card to purchase clothing for her upcoming college courses that she is taking, so that she can be comfortable while going from class to class.
