Aliza is a remarkable young woman and devoted single mother to an energetic son. After growing up in foster care, she moved into her own apartment last year and is determined to give her son the stable, loving home she never had. Working as a home health aid, she’s working toward financial independence. With continued support, she will create the bright, stable future she’s always envisioned for her and her son.

Aliza is excited for the summer time, especially since she lives close to the ocean. Now that her son is turning 2, she is excited to take him to the beach, walk the boardwalk and visit the nearby aquarium. Aliza would really like a camera to capture all these firsts with her son. Aliza recently completed her certificated nursing assistant program and is studying for her exam. Until she passes the exam and finds a job, Aliza does not have much disposable income. Granting this wish would allow Aliza to capture meaningful moments with her son this summer.
