Pip is a creative, driven young person who spent a significant amount of time in foster care. Pip has overcome great personal challenges to inspire others in the system to welcome volunteer mentors into their lives. They dream of earning a college degree and entering a career in STEM. In their spare time, Pip likes dabbling in sculpture, such as making character masks from natural materials, and going on walks with their mentor.

Pip grew up in the foster care system and has been working hard to build her independence. She recently took a job in Florida, but it unfortunately ended unexpectedly. She is now traveling back to Boston and currently does not have stable housing or financial resources. Silver Linings is able to help her access emergency housing, but we do not have the funds to cover her transportation to get there. A gift card would greatly help Pip get to her emergency housing safely and support her during this difficult transition.
