Mi'lah is a quiet and reserved child who tends to keep to herself unless she feels comfortable with someone. Once a person gets to know her, she becomes outgoing and playful. She lives with her grandmother and enjoys reading, coloring, playing with dolls alongside her cousin, getting her nails painted and riding her bike outside. Although times are a bit rough for Mi'lah and her sister, she still manages to find happiness each day.

Mi'lah has recently learned to style her own hair and is asking for a blow dryer with a diffuser to help with this. She dislikes having wet hair and currently does not own a blow dryer. This gift will boost her confidence in styling her hair and allow her to learn new techniques. It will also help her practice self-care and responsibility. By being able to manage her hair and getting dressed independently without her grandmother's help, Mi'lah will gain a sense of independence.
