Randy is very artistic and has a talent for drawing. He enjoys listening to music and playing instruments. Although he has computer skills, he has shown interest in pursuing a landscaping job while also continuing his music activities. Randy is intelligent and performs well academically when he applies himself. His support system is limited due to the loss of his mother in 2021. His father lost custody of him, and contact with his adoptive parents is currently restricted because of previous concerns regarding his mental health and well-being.

Randy has recently accepted an extension of foster care services and is focused on improving his independent living skills while searching for a job. After completing a residential stay, he is now transitioning to independent living. However, the independent living placement he has recently moved to currently lacks public transportation options. To support his journey towards greater independence and aid in his job search, Randy would greatly benefit from having a bike. This would not only help him commute to work but also expand the range of job opportunities available to him. Granting this wish would provide Randy with a fresh start and reduce one of the barriers he faces, especially when he sometimes feels that the odds are stacked against him. Despite these challenges, Randy remains optimistic and hopeful. His workers describe him as eager, self-advocating, and passionate about being successful.
