Christina entered foster care at just 12 years old after repeatedly running away from an abusive home, beginning a childhood marked by constant movement between foster placements and group homes. Without a stable place to land, she often carried a deep sense of being unloved and unseen. Those early experiences shaped how she viewed herself and the world, making it hard to trust and feel safe. But today, Christina is on a different path. She is intentionally focusing on healing—learning how to sit with her emotions, understand them, and give herself the care she was once denied. Through this journey, she is beginning to build a sense of self-love and worth that no one can take away. Christina now dreams of becoming a therapist, hoping to one day support others who have faced similar pain, turning her story into a source of strength and connection for those still finding their way.

Christina is hoping for support with a gas gift card to help her get to and from work. After having to miss a couple of days recently while she was sick, her next paycheck will be a little short, making it difficult to cover transportation costs in the meantime. Assistance with gas would help ensure she can continue getting to work consistently while getting back on track financially.
