Alberto has lived with his grandparents his entire life after being abandoned by his biological mother, who struggled with alcoholism. He has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and is mostly non-verbal, though he can say a few words, including “mama” for his grandmother and “woo” for his grandfather. Even though he is non-verbal, his grandparents do a wonderful job understanding his cues and needs. Alberto has a close bond with his grandparents and enjoys their care and support. He especially loves eating fruit.

Alberto needs a wheelchair seatbelt to stay safe during meals. This seatbelt will help stabilize him in his chair, preventing falls and allowing him to enjoy mealtime with his family.
