Day is a fighter and a resilient young man who hopes to make something of himself one day. He is a survivor of domestic violence and is currently in foster care. Despite having a learning disability, he is doing everything he can to maintain his grades in school. One of the hardest challenges he has faced is the separation from his younger sister. The two of them were very close, but they had to be separated in order to find appropriate placements. Despite all the difficulties he has endured, Day strives to keep a positive attitude. He aspires to attend college and study engineering. He truly believes that, in the future, he will look back and see that everything he has gone through was necessary for him to achieve his destiny.

Day is really excited to see his little sister again once school is out. It has been a couple of months since they last spent time together, and he is looking forward to hanging out and catching up. He is especially happy about taking her to celebrate her birthday at Dave & Buster’s with her friends. Day also hopes to wear a stylish Alo jacket for the occasion. He likes expressing himself through fashion and feels good about updating his wardrobe after losing many of his clothes due to theft or damage.
