Marksboro Community ChurchLeo loves anything with wheels—big trucks, excavators, monster trucks, and motorcycles. He came into foster care and is hoping to be reunified with his mom. Because of this situation, he is experiencing big emotions that sometimes show up as challenging behaviors. His mom is working hard to reunify with him, and Leo remains hopeful that he will be able to return to her soon.
Leo is requesting this busy board backpack to support his sensory and developmental needs related to autism. Hands-on activities, buckles, zippers, shoe-tying practice, and other interactive features will help him strengthen fine motor skills, build independence in everyday life skills, and stay engaged in a calm, productive way. Sensory-based learning tools like this are especially helpful for keeping him regulated and focused while also encouraging problem-solving and confidence. The backpack's design also makes it easy to bring along to appointments, travel, or outings, helping provide comfort and structure wherever he goes.
