Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, IncAyah is being raised by her grandmother. Her mother moved back to Nigeria, abandoning Ayah, and her father is currently serving in the military. Despite these challenges, Ayah is excelling in school and has a passion for reading. She visits the library once a week to select new books and enjoys reading for 20 minutes every night before bed. She also participates in Girl Scouts and loves the various activities.
Ayah can't wait to learn how to skate! She dreams of skating with her sister on the sidewalk outside. It would be a fun way to get some exercise and help take her mind off missing her dad while he’s away.
