An electric scooter for Jasmine to have reliable transportation to her college classes

Jasmine balances a job while being a full-time college student studying art, and she also helps care for her younger siblings on a daily basis. Despite her busy responsibilities, she does not let challenges or inconveniences take away from her determination to keep moving forward. She has spent most of her life in foster care and continues to thrive despite the obstacles she has faced. Jasmine is currently in foster care, and her primary support system is her foster parents. Even with limited support, she remains focused, motivated, and goal-oriented, with plans to complete college and eventually transfer to a university. Jasmine is kind, hardworking, and dedicated to both school and work. She is very excited to be starting college and looks forward to building a strong future for herself through education.

Jasmine does not have a car and is not in a position to purchase one anytime soon. As she prepares to begin college, an electric scooter would be an ideal solution to help her get around. It would provide an affordable and reliable way for her to commute without depending on expensive Uber rides or inconsistent bus schedules. Jasmine currently lives in a Transitional Housing Program (THP) and will be traveling to campus. Transportation has been a significant challenge for her, especially since she does not have friends or family nearby who are able to provide rides. Because Uber is often too costly and public transportation is not always reliable, getting to class, appointments, and other essential errands on time can be difficult. Having an electric scooter would make a meaningful difference in her daily life. It would allow her to get to school on time, attend appointments, and even run quick errands like going to the store. Most importantly, it would give her greater independence and reduce the stress and uncertainty around transportation. This scooter would not only help Jasmine save money but also support her as she enters this important new chapter of her life. It would make her college experience much more manageable and allow her to focus more on her studies and goals, rather than worrying about how she will get from place to place.
