Strength Based Community Change (SBCC), formerly the South Bay Center for Counseling, is a non-profit organization serving Los Angeles County with the aim of empowering individuals and communities. Founded in 1973, SBCC has expanded from a mental health center to a multi-faceted organization with a $6 million budget, serving over 20,000 people annually.
