A pair of new shoes for Summer to ease her foot pain

Foster NationSummer is an incredibly driven person who spent three years in the foster care system. While she battled mental health challenges throughout her time in the system, she was able to go to therapy through the love and support of those around her, which made a huge difference. Summer is in college and wants to one day have an MSW or LCSW so she can give back to her community in a very impactful way.
Since graduating college, Summer now works for a foster youth support program at a community college. She is proud to use her own life experiences to help others heal and grow. As she saves money for her future with her fiancé, Summer is currently unable to replace her worn-out shoes. She is hoping for a new pair of barefoot shoes, since they are the only type she has found that do not worsen her foot and ankle pain.
