Fantasia is a strong individual who has faced significant challenges throughout her life, especially during her time in foster care. By age 11, she was already caring for other children, sacrificing her own childhood. Now preparing for motherhood, she is coping with the recent loss of her grandmother, her main source of support. Despite feeling alone at times, Fantasia remains steadfast in her faith, finding strength through prayer and trust in God. She is committed to completing her college education to create a stable future for her family. In her free time, Fantasia enjoys dancing and spending time outdoors, which helps her maintain a positive outlook. Fantasia is requesting assistance with paying the remaining balance on her student account so she can continue her education and complete her degree at ECPI University. Due to the outstanding balance, she is unable to finish her program, despite being very close to graduation. Fantasia only needs 11 more credits to earn her Medical Assistant degree. Upon completion, she will also receive certifications in EKG, Phlebotomy, and Medical Billing and Coding, giving her the skills and credentials needed to secure stable employment in the healthcare field. After overcoming significant challenges in foster care and recently losing her primary support system, her grandmother, Fantasia, has remained committed to building a better future for herself and her unborn child. Paying off this balance would remove the financial barrier standing between her and graduation, allowing her to begin a meaningful career, achieve financial stability, and create the life she has worked so hard to build.
