Araya's aunt obtained legal guardianship of her and her four siblings while their parents were incarcerated. Araya loves school, art, and music. She is kind and helpful, and she overcomes obstacles like a champion. Her greatest strength is her resilience. No matter what challenges she has faced in her life, she brings light and joy to everyone around her.

Araya is in need of a new mattress for her daybed so she can have a comfortable and restful place to sleep. She does not currently have a mattress of her own and is sharing a bed. Having her own mattress would give her a sense of personal space and help her get a more peaceful night’s sleep.
